CX2 MADRONA

Two single-family residences and a detached ADU on a tight urban infill lot in Seattle, designed and built through a collaboration between Citizen Design and Valor Builds.

The roofline takes its cues from the Cascades angled, varied forms that break up the massing and pull daylight deep into each home. Cedar siding, left to weather naturally alongside stained accents, grounds the homes in their Pacific Northwest setting.

The result is density done with intention: three distinct homes that feel generous and light-filled rather than stacked-in, proving infill housing doesn't have to sacrifice character for efficiency.
