LEADERSHIP
About Kevin Wall
Kevin has spent 25 years in construction — over a decade as an owner with Valor Builds. Currently, he leads AXIA Built with a simple notion: a nimble, curated team- working transparently with a Client and Architect, maximizes value.
He started his career with a construction management degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, then spent six years with MA Mortenson, cutting his teeth on commercial, institutional, industrial, state, and municipal work — including stadium projects at Cheney Stadium and Safeco Field. That early experience gave him a foundation in complex, high-stakes construction that still shapes how he approaches every project today.
Since 2008, Kevin has built his career in Seattle, developing deep relationships across the residential construction world, the region's high-end architecture community, and a trusted network of subcontractors. Those relationships are the backbone of AXIA Built — Kevin doesn't just manage projects, he builds the right team for each one, matching owners and architects with trade partners who fit the project's values and goals.

Kevin leads with the belief that trust, accountability, and early planning are what separate average projects from successful ones. He's collaborative and straightforward, and he stays deeply involved from preconstruction through completion — working closely with owners, consultants, and trade partners to keep budgets, schedules, and long-term value in focus. It's an approach that blends entrepreneurial thinking with real, on-the-ground construction experience, so clients get a partner who understands both the business and the execution of building.
He's drawn to complex problems and enjoys thinking outside the box — especially alongside people who share his values around honesty and doing things right.
Outside of work, Kevin is happiest with his wife and four kids; whether that's out on the boat, tinkering on an engine, or playing music together.
